Ink Act 1 recap

Two creatures with the appearance of stained glass are wandering a "dead" world. This dead world is made up only of starry skies above, and fragmented mirrors below.
These two creatures are a young, female feline named Atli, and a large male bird named Jin. Act 1 opens with Atli stomping around on the mirrors and making noise. Jin expresses irritation at the noise, but Atli claims she can't stop. She tells Jin she's trying a new method of "testing." Jin remarks that he's hungry, and it becomes apparent that the two are hunting.
Atli grudgingly stops fooling around, and finds a piece that has what she's looking for. Jin breaks the mirror and their prey leaps out with a flash of light. They hunt and eat "Inkthings," which are small, squishy black creatures that move like frogs.
After eating, they clean off a bit, bicker for a while, until Atli runs off and calls for Jin to catch her. Jin, being a spoilsport, stomps along behind her and refuses to join the chase.
In the last page it becomes clear that while Atli's reflection is that of a leopard, Jin's is of a foggy black mass.
