A re-imagining of an older piece for a class I'm taking.
I originally intended to do it in a style like this but ended up opting for a more cartoony feel due to time constraints. Finally had the hours to dedicate to this. I think they both bring something the other doesn't have. I wouldn't say I'm necessarily satisfied with the result but we'll call it a progress.

I love how there are little details everywhere that totally add to the piece's character like the stars and the gasoline jug.
That paper worries me... I hope whatever that was wasn't a library.
Also, and it might be the utter nerd in me, but I see sooo many references to Magic the Gathering in this. <3
I also find interesting how time constraints can have such an impact on art style.
