hmm... the bg took forever and i still dont really like it... oh well ^^ Mheetu, Nala, and Malka runninf from shenzi banzai and ed, prob'ly sometime after simba "died". Seems that Scar lost his temper with mheetu D= and then sent hyenas after the poor boy. i wanted to draw something unusual xD

I really love the background in this one. The cave walls almost look like they're made of some sort of crystal. It's really pretty! I feel like some great adventure could unfold for the three cubs after they run deeper into the cave. Maybe this crystal cave is like a secret passage under the mountain and leads to Malka's pride. (gawd, I wish I was a writer. I would so make a fanfic based on this pic XD)

I always thoroughly enjoy semi-canon art, more cubs are needed in TLK world. Poor Mheetu looks as scared as his sister did in your last picture! And Nala's only worried about her brother's condition, good thing Malka is there to help convince her that moving would be a really good idea at the moment.

haha yes, nala is quite the older sister, but she doesnt seem to understand that they all could die if they dont run away xD
