Atli is just mad that someone could out do her with logic, but, her being just a kid, that's just how it is. Kande is a philosopher, so, pretty much anything she says, he can counteract and use it against her.
This page quite coolly addresses one of the fundamental questions of philosophy: is it worth it? Is the search for the truth worth disrupting your own existence? Or, in Atli's case, is it worth the uncomfortable displacement of her own ideals about god, to question the world around her and their own existence?
Sometimes I wish Iris from the SCP Foundation existed ([link]) so she could reach through the picture and give his ears a good, painful tweak... Sorry, I just have people who give lectures and tear other people down like that; I mean, jeeze, she's young! Give that smug yap a rest for a minute.
Haha, oh Atli, of course Every kid is like that, aren't they? They want to play always and run ahead and be childish- until someone else who seems to know more than their guardian comes along and they end up hating/disliking them from the start...You stay to hear what they have to say~
