Two lone creatures in a dead world searching for... a god?

And thus the story really begins. I would like to make it very clear that this story is not about any particular religion, nor is it focused on religion, it simply touches on the theme and has religious characters. This story should (hopefully!) hold your interest regardless of your religious beliefs. Other views and themes will emerge with time, stay tuned! All your questions will be answered as the story continues.

This story will have six Acts. Why? Because I originally planned for five, to mimic old plays, but then I came to the decision that five was too perfect for a story about imperfection, so... six.

it also marks where you have been

You want it to be a perfect story and yet it is about imperfection, thus the irregular number of acts. THAT is quite awesome!! I love your logic!!!

Hm, perhaps they are looking for God for the real world, not a dead world. In that world Atli (that's the name right?) will be a leopard. Jin on the other hand is a huge black mass. This could mean either he is pollution, or simply wont exist in a place of God.

That last statement was so profound till I read that you meant "God is in this direction" :XD:

This is so beautiful, and I am very intrigued.

Wait... I think I may have just figured out a spoiler. Is Jin the God? That would explain why his shadow's all funky. :/ Or is that just what you want us to think? :3
Gah, I'm confused now. XD But wonderful comic btw, I'm loving the story so far.

Just a quick question, does it ever become a pain to draw/color these two? Their markings seem to be so particular and all over the place xD Though it looks awesome, I just can't imagine constantly having to map them out xDD

Certainly give you props, I could have gone with a quick and simple design. Then again, these somehow still seem simple. Just a comment from a stranger xD Enjoying it so far. Glad you picked it back up~

Certainly XD It's the most irritating part. If their designs were simple, these pages would hardly break an hour for each, but theyre all upwards of two due to the little details><

I like this...I get the feeling the term "God" can be interpreted very loosely...like in God of War the ultimate weapon turned out to be hope itself. Quite and interesting turn is expected. Though I get the feeling that it could turn out to be a huge mistake for them to locate this "God" and it in fact might end both their lives and their world...

I wish you luck in your endevours and eagerly await this stories pages as they are revealed.

I'm still curious about if Atli and Jin ever transform into what their reflections show. Maybe they'll do when they've found their God? ... ^^

When I read about god I first thought It might be an actual existent "thing" in their world, a kind of solution to something, maybe the key to their world or sort of.... just telling you that since you were explaining^^

I've to say I was puzzled by the "God is this way"; but then I read your description and I changed my idea. Really, I'm in love with the graphic and the colours of your characters: the background is a wonderful complement, but the characters are simply marvellous. Great idea.

I'm glad (:
If you were puzzled by the phrasing, she simply means "God is in this direction." If it was the theme you were puzzle by, I'm glad the description cleared it up for you!

I loved your explanation about the question of the six-five acts, too. I think it's a nice idea.
