I like your comments to the side, it helps me follow the images well. Most artists don't do that in their process shots so I'm letting you know I appreciate it :> My problem is that I can do a sketch, but when it comes time to paint over it, I just make it look awful. I need to learn how to blend digital colors. For example, the mountain landscape - how did you know where to place the light/dark colors and what colors to choose?
Awesome, but one idea. I am not claming to be able to do anything digitally or anything close to this, but with what I have seen, the "Final product" here for some of the best artists I've seen would not be near finished. Add some more details, and then some more, and then once you are done with that, just throw in some more details. Small nicks and branches on the trees, branches and details on the rocky ground, some snow on the wolf.
Just my suggestion. Still, I am not near this good.
Thanks for the tutorial/step-by-step! It's one of the most helpful ones I've seen! A lot of people like to talk about technique or other things that aren't as important as the key elements you covered such as composition and unity. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
