Not to be too picky, but the sabers on a Smilodon extend lower past the mandible. Plus the front/rear proportions don't look quite right from the skeletons I've studied. Drawing is great. I'm just more into the morphology.
Hey Phacops, I'm the owner of this character. You are right that Smilodon typically have longer sabers and a smaller backside, but the character is female. I think femininity is kind of hard to portray in such a muscular, massive species like a Smilodon, and I specified that I wanted her to look like a girl. Making the hind legs slightly more proportionate to the shoulders and shortening the sabers, in my opinion, just makes her look slightly more feminine (plus, I think her mouth is open a little bit, so if it were closed they would look like they extend lower). Also, it is very accurate to the reference I provided, which is one of the photos in the Smilodon Wikipedia article. This is a new character, and this is the first time she has ever been drawn, so I was very satisfied with the outcome.
